Many folks carry what they say are 100% mohair cinches or girths.
So why should you buy a Bridle Tooth cinch?

Most cinchas out today are to narrow. I build a wider girth to help hold that saddle in place while keeping the horse comfortable. Many 100% mohair cinchas are not 100%. They have mixed in wool or an acrylic fiber. Wool is natural but it holds moisture, the acrlyic is unable to breath.
Most other cinchas are not built by hand they are factory made in some other country and they sew in leather or webbing to hold the D's in place. This also creates a large welt that the horse can feel.  Would you want a big wad stuffed under a belt tight around your waste?..... The horse doesn't either. There is no sewing on my cinchas it is all hand knotted to lay as flat as possible.
So buy hand made quality cinchas made right here in the USA, by someone who  makes a living sitting on a horse, and knows what works. Don't just take my word for it look at what the old timers used on their single rig saddles. Extra wide hand made natural fibered cinchas.  If it is not 100% mohair your giving up some of the best properties inherant in natural mohair- wicking ability and strength.
